Responsible Sourcing
INALUM ensures that the procurement process and supplier selection are conducted responsibly, taking into account ethical standards, compliance, and sustainability principles throughout the supply chain.
Sustainable Sourcing Practices for a Better Future
In line with the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Performance Standard, INALUM has established Responsible Sourcing guidelines and a Supplier Registration and Evaluation Procedure so that suppliers and business partners reflect the values and principles INALUM upholds.
In applying responsible sourcing, we have adopted the core principles of the OECD on Responsible Supply Chains, including a commitment not to source from conflict-affected and high-risk areas (CAHRA). This commitment is set out in the Responsible Sourcing document and an Integrity Pact that all suppliers must sign as a declaration of compliance with corporate governance, environmental, and social standards in running their business.
