Risk Management
INALUM manages risk in an integrated manner to ensure business continuity, anticipate challenges, and ensure that every decision supports long-term value creation.
Managing Risk to Support Company Objectives
INALUM has issued Board of Directors Regulation No. PER-006/DIR/2024 on the Risk Management Policy and Implementation Guidelines as a reference for the Company and its subsidiaries. The guidelines standardize and align risk management practices to strengthen the ability to identify, analyze, evaluate, and respond to risks and to seize opportunities in achieving company objectives. They refer to State-Owned Enterprises Ministerial Regulation No. PER-2/MBU/2023 on Guidelines for Governance and Significant Corporate Activities of State-Owned Enterprises and to risk management principles in line with ISO 31000:2018.
To identify and mitigate risks in achieving company targets and objectives, INALUM has formed Departmental Risk Management Teams (TMRD). Risk management and mitigation are supported by the SIMRI application (Risk Management Information System). In an independent risk management maturity assessment for financial year 2023, INALUM scored 2.93 on a scale of 5 (Good Practice category).
